AT&T's new Sales Force
AT&T needed a better way to sell a lot of different offers without adding to the clutter. Devices, data plans, texting, talk plans, speed, limited-time promotions — every message had to be simple, fast, and instantly recognizable.
We created Evolution, a flexible retail campaign platform built around a cast of animated critters, each designed to embody a specific AT&T product benefit or promotional need. I came up with and designed the characters, as well as the shiny, surreal and tactile world they lived in, giving AT&T a playful visual system that could stretch across different offers while keeping the work cohesive.
The campaign launched with a series of 15-second spots for Microsoft Windows Phones and expanded across TV, print, outdoor, online, and in-store. The characters and world were brought to life by PandaPanther, turning AT&T’s retail messages into a distinctive, scalable, and relentless little sales force.
